vfilm / website terms
clear terms.
independent voices.
the scope of this website, its public perspective and the conversations it helps begin.
use these pages to consider the opportunity and understand vfilm's public offer. participation, project services, rights and commercial arrangements are confirmed separately before commitment.

01 / purpose and scope
a website is
a starting point.
these terms explain the use of the vfilm website and its initial contact tools. vfilm is used here as the business brand, with questions directed to hello@vfilm.ai. the website presents a perspective on vertical micro film, the changing conditions for independent creators and a high-level introduction to vfilm's offer. its purpose is to support an informed first conversation about a possible creative or business relationship.
reading a page or preparing an introduction does not enroll you in a cohort, commission production, purchase a service or enter an investment arrangement. any such activity requires its own confirmed scope and, where appropriate, a separate written agreement with identified parties. these website terms do not replace that agreement or determine an unpublished project's ownership, financing or revenue participation. a general statement about an emerging market is not a personal commitment to provide a particular service.
use the current pages to understand the offer and decide what to ask next. where a project-specific document and a general website description address different levels of detail, confirm the applicable arrangement before making a commitment. an initial email or general expression of interest is not the final commercial specification.
02 / program information
understand the plan.
confirm the scope.
the website outlines vfilm's intention to support independent creators and emerging studios working in vertical micro film. public descriptions explain the purpose and broad offer. the actual scope of any participation depends on what is available and agreed for the relevant activity. interest in the format, a work sample or a conversation with vfilm does not by itself establish selection, a production commitment or entitlement to specific resources.
cohort dates, availability, participation format, expected time commitment, fees and included resources are confirmed directly before participation. a general description does not reserve a place or establish an agreed service. ask which activities are included, who is responsible for delivery and which costs or tools need separate approval.
participation does not guarantee investment, licensing, distribution, employment, audience growth, profit or another production commission. a showcase or industry conversation is an opportunity for review, not a promise of a transaction. program participation, studio investment and film financing are separate decisions. the website does not offer securities or invite a payment through the introduction form.
03 / website content
read the perspective.
keep its context.
you may read the public pages for personal or professional consideration and share links to them. ordinary access to the website is not a general license to reproduce its writing, repackage the site or use its visual assets in another product. the public pages do not grant access to a course or a license to reuse private program materials. permissions given for a separate project or activity should be understood within their own stated scope.
rights and permitted uses can differ between website writing, images, marks, typefaces and material at linked destinations. a credit or source link does not transfer those rights. where a license notice applies to a particular asset, that notice concerns that asset rather than everything on the page. contact vfilm about a proposed reuse that goes beyond ordinary reading or linking, and identify the material and purpose concerned.
the vfilm name and visual identity identify this website and its offer. they must not be used to suggest an approval, affiliation or partnership that has not been agreed. similarly, mentioning a research publisher, platform or technology provider does not imply that it endorses vfilm or participates in the program. any agreed public credit or collaboration belongs to the terms of that relationship.

04 / visuals and market evidence
perspective and evidence
have different roles.
website imagery includes generated editorial illustrations. it does not document an actual cohort, venue or completed production. the vfilm identity and separately attributed material remain subject to their applicable rights and permissions.
market figures describe the category, geography and period stated. estimates and forecasts provide context and do not guarantee results for vfilm, a creator or an individual project.

05 / introductions and materials
a first message
is a conversation.
the form prepares a draft in your browser. you review the text and send it through your own email application, or copy it into a message. vfilm receives an introduction only when an email is actually delivered to its mailbox. the page does not issue an application receipt, reserve a place or provide a tracking dashboard. keep your own sent message if you need a record of what you shared.
provide accurate contact information, describe your own contribution to any linked work and send only material you are entitled to share. a short premise and relevant samples are enough for first contact. leave full confidential packages, identification documents, account passwords and payment details out of the initial message. if a collaborator's approval is needed, obtain it before circulating their material.
an initial introduction does not automatically establish a confidentiality agreement, a representation arrangement or an exclusive development relationship. discuss those requirements before sharing restricted material. vfilm's program principles call for purpose-specific permissions for review, tool use, public presentation and reuse. a later written agreement should identify the permitted uses and the people involved.

06 / creative independence
keep the decisions
explicit.
the program's public approach centers the creator's editorial control. participation does not automatically assign your intellectual property, future work or likeness to vfilm, a sponsor or a tool provider. ownership, revenue participation, production services, investment and any license should be addressed expressly in the documents for the relevant project.
tool choice depends on the work, its permissions, technical needs and agreed scope. a company mentioned in a discussion is not automatically an approved recipient of your materials. permission for a private review does not by itself authorize public promotion, reuse, model training or a new distribution channel. confirm those uses before they occur.
the partnerships page invites a conversation about possible collaboration. it is not a directory of committed buyers or a claim that institutions support the program. paid support does not purchase a selection decision or an independent review outcome. sponsorship, production services, licensing and investment can involve different parties and interests. a later agreement should make the applicable relationship clear rather than relying on an assumption created by a general website description.

07 / responsible use and services
respect the work
and the service.
use the website and its contact tools for legitimate professional interests and business inquiries. do not impersonate another person, misrepresent your contribution, send material that unlawfully violates another person's rights, attempt to obtain another visitor's information or interfere with normal access. do not treat the contact mailbox as permission for unsolicited bulk messages or attempts to gain access to private work.
the website may link to outside platforms, email software, portfolios or other resources. their availability, content, access rules and data practices are controlled by those services. a link is provided for the stated context and is not an endorsement of every service or claim found at the destination. review the destination before entering information, making a purchase or authorizing a new use of your work.
the hosting provider's own terms apply to the service it provides. the privacy notice explains the distinction between website behavior, email correspondence and provider processing.
08 / accuracy and changes
keep expectations
grounded.
vfilm aims to keep the website clear and current. published information, program availability, links and prospective activities may change as the work develops. check the relevant page and confirm a project-specific scope before relying on an older copy. a correction to website commentary does not retroactively change an agreement already made for a particular project.
the website's public perspectives and general descriptions provide information for consideration. they do not establish that a particular work is commercially viable or that a proposed use of material is legally cleared. there is no promise that the website or an external link will always be uninterrupted or error free. nothing in these website terms is intended to remove rights or obligations that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude.
the revision date appears at the top. contact hello@vfilm.ai to report an error or broken link, request clarification about a permitted use or discuss terms needed for a specific activity. include enough context to identify the page or material. a clear question can be answered before you invest time in a full submission or agree to a production commitment.

a clear starting point
ask before
you share more.
if a proposed use, request or project term is unclear, contact vfilm before providing additional material. include the relevant page or conversation so the question can be addressed in context.
